The Mystery of Life
Layout sample: the text is a placeholder and will be replaced with the real content.
Have you ever asked yourself, late at night when everything is quiet: what am I running around for?
School, work, marriage, a home. One goal after another. Yet each time you reach one, the empty place inside does not seem any fuller.
There is an emptiness inside us
We keep thinking a little more will be enough. A little more income, a little more recognition, a little more security. But "a little more" is always just ahead. When we catch up with it, it moves one step further.
There is a line in the Bible that says it plainly:
He has made everything beautiful in its own time; also He has put eternity in their heart.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 (Recovery Version)
The longing for "forever" inside us cannot be filled by things. A glove is made to hold a hand. When people were made, a place was left inside them too.
The answer is not far away
Many people think that to find the answer to life, they first need to read many books and think through many ideas. Not so. The One who made us wants to be found, and He is not far from any of us.
You can try
You do not need to understand a lot first. Right now, you can quiet down, open your heart, and say one honest sentence to Him.
